Sofie De Schryver (geb. 1993) absolvierte 2018 ihr Studium im Bereich Musicaltheater am Königlichen Konservatorium in Brüssel. Bereits während ihres Abschlussjahres übernahm sie die Rolle der Lucy Harris in „Jekyll & Hyde“ und stand erstmals professionell im Ensemble der „Rocky Horror Show“ (Deep Bridge) auf der Bühne.
Zwischen 2018 und 2020 war sie in Belgien in verschiedenen Produktionen zu sehen, darunter „Scrooge“, „Neverland: The Adventures of Peter Pan“, „The Best of Musicals 2019“, „Kiss of the Spider Woman“, „La Cage aux Folles“ und „Cinderella“.
In Deutschland debutierte sie als Cover Magda und Gender Cross Swing in „Tanz der Vampire“ (Stage Entertainment) in Stuttgart. Im Anschluss daran stand sie als Cover Anna sowie im Ensemble von „Disney’s Die Eiskönigin“ im Stage Theater an der Elbe in Hamburg auf der Bühne. Es folgten Engagements in „Elisabeth“ (Tournee) als Fräulein Windisch und Cover der Titelrolle Elisabeth sowie als Solistin bei dem renommierten WDR Funkhausorchester, mit dem sie das Programm „Thank You For The Music: ABBA Symphonic“ präsentierte.
Vor ihrem Musicalstudium schloss Sofie ein Bachelorstudium in Audiovisuellen Künsten am RITCS in Brüssel mit Auszeichnung ab.

Sofie De Schryver (born 1993) graduated from the Royal Conservatoire in Brussels in 2018 with a degree in musical theatre. During her final year, she took on the role of Lucy Harris in ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ and first appeared professionally on stage in the ensemble of the ‘Rocky Horror Show’ (Deep Bridge).
Between 2018 and 2020, she appeared in various productions in Belgium, including ‘Scrooge’, ‘Neverland: The Adventures of Peter Pan’, ‘The Best of Musicals 2019’, ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’, ‘La Cage aux Folles’ and ‘Cinderella’.
In Germany, she made her debut as Understudy Magda and Gender Cross Swing in ‘Tanz der Vampire’ (Stage Entertainment) in Stuttgart. She then appeared on stage as Understudy Anna and in the ensemble of ‘Disney’s Frozen’ at the Stage Theatre an der Elbe in Hamburg. This was followed by engagements in ‘Elisabeth’ (tour) as Fräulein Windisch and Understudy of the title role Elisabeth and as a soloist with the renowned WDR Funkhausorchester, with whom she presented the programme ‘Thank You For The Music: ABBA Symphonic’.
Before studying musical theatre, Sofie completed a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Arts at the RITCS in Brussels with distinction.
